The MechMaxx 5-inch disc wood chipper is powered by a 15HP gasoline engine and features an electric start system for reliable and convenient operation.
Built for long-lasting performance, the chipper uses a disc system equipped with two double-sided, reversible blades, helping extend blade life while maintaining consistent cutting efficiency. The feeding chute is designed with a hinge mechanism, allowing it to open quickly for easy blade access and replacement.
The discharge chute is constructed from shaped steel tubing, providing durability while allowing full 360-degree rotation for flexible chip discharge. A 72-inch high output chute enables material to be directed directly into a truck bed for added convenience.
For transport, the unit is equipped with two 19x7.00-8 DOT-approved tires, along with an American-style plug and taillight system. When connected to a vehicle, the chipper’s taillights synchronize with the vehicle’s signals for braking and turning, improving safety during towing.
The tow bar includes collapsible dual jockey wheels, enhancing both stability and ease of movement when transporting the machine.
For operator safety, the chipper is equipped with a quick-stop jerk button and an emergency stop press bar positioned above the feeding chute, allowing the engine to be shut down immediately when necessary.
Designed as a high-performance solution, this wood chipper is suitable for professional use as well as rental and leasing applications.
