The MechMaxx 6-inch wood chipper is powered by a 15HP gasoline engine and features an electric start system for quick and dependable operation. It is equipped with two 12-inch blades, along with DOT road-legal tires, a 48-inch wheelbase, and a 56-inch discharge chute for efficient performance and transport between job sites.
Built for demanding applications, this chipper includes a heavy-duty 14-inch diameter feed roller capable of handling branches up to 6 inches thick with strong and consistent performance.
The cutting system features double-edge, reversible blades, helping extend blade life while maintaining efficient chipping capability over time.
For ease of maintenance and servicing, both the feeding chute and discharge chute can be opened quickly and without hassle. The discharge chute is constructed using integrated forming technology, offering a durable and streamlined design with full 360-degree rotation for flexible material discharge.
Safety is enhanced with a safety button located above the feeding chute and an emergency stop press bar positioned along the lower section of the chute, allowing the engine to be shut down quickly in emergency situations.
Designed for stability and mobility, the unit is equipped with front 13x5.00-6 tires and rear 19x7.00-8 tubeless tires, combined with a wide 48-inch wheelbase. This setup improves balance and allows for operation on uneven or sloped terrain with increased stability.
