Tire Changer – TC9662
The MechMaxx TC9662 tire changer is a dependable and efficient machine built to handle most passenger wheels, as well as spare and trailer tires. It is well-suited for small businesses, car enthusiasts, race shops, and as a backup unit for more advanced equipment.
Equipped with a double assist arm system, this unit provides added support when working with difficult tires by helping keep the bead in place during mounting. Each assist arm operates independently, allowing for adjustable pressure and more precise control, improving speed and efficiency. A drop-center cone is also included to hold the bead securely in position and help protect the tire during external clamping.
The swing-arm design enables fast and straightforward mounting and dismounting of tires on most steel and alloy wheels while minimizing the risk of damage. A powerful motor combined with a maintenance-free gearbox ensures smooth and consistent tire handling.
For tougher applications, the built-in bead blaster system delivers a strong burst of air to seat stubborn tire beads quickly and effectively without compromising tire integrity.
For added versatility, the machine can be equipped with an optional motorcycle adapter (sold separately, SKU: 200020), allowing it to service motorcycle tires as well.
