MechMaxx 5" Disc Wood Chipper – 15HP Gasoline Engine, Electric Start
The MechMaxx 5-inch disc wood chipper is powered by a 15HP gasoline engine with an electric start system, delivering reliable and efficient performance for a wide range of applications.
Designed for durability, this chipper features a disc equipped with two double-sided, reversible blades, helping extend service life and maintain consistent cutting performance. The feeding chute is built with a hinged design, allowing it to open quickly for easy blade replacement and maintenance.
The discharge chute is constructed using a formed steel tube design, providing both strength and functionality while allowing full 360-degree rotation. With a 72-inch high output chute, wood chips can be discharged directly into a truck bed for added convenience.
For transport and road use, the unit is equipped with two 19x7.00-8 DOT-approved tires, along with an American-style plug and taillight system. When connected to a vehicle, the chipper’s taillights will mirror the vehicle’s signals for braking and turning, improving visibility and safety during towing.
The tow bar includes collapsible dual jockey wheels, enhancing both stability and ease of maneuvering while transporting the unit.
Operator safety is prioritized with a quick-stop jerk button and an emergency stop press bar located above the feeding chute, allowing the engine to be shut down rapidly in emergency situations.
Engineered as a high-performance solution, this wood chipper is well-suited for professional use as well as rental and leasing applications.
